Kansas City, MO – 2 Injured in Box Truck Crash on E Front St near N Olive St

Kansas City, MO (September 12, 2024) – Two drivers were injured in a box truck crash early Friday morning, September 12, in northeast Kansas City.

The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. on East Front Street near North Olive Street. According to the Kansas City Fire Department, the crash involved two box trucks. One of the trucks veered off the roadway, ruptured its fuel tanks, and caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, while additional crews responded to contain a major fuel spill.

Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries. Fortunately, no other vehicles or individuals were reported to be involved in the incident.

Authorities have not released details on what caused the crash. Investigators remain at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision.
