Kansas City Car Accident at Parallel Pkwy & N 90th St Injures Two

Kansas City, KS (July 13, 2026) – A Kansas City car accident left two drivers injured Sunday morning following a collision at the intersection of Parallel Parkway and North 90th Street in Wyandotte County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:34 a.m. on July 12 at the intersection of Parallel Parkway and North 90th Street, also identified as the 9000 block of Parallel Parkway.

Investigators reported that a 2017 Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on Parallel Parkway and attempting to turn left onto North 90th Street. At the same time, a 2001 Ford Ranger was traveling westbound on Parallel Parkway. The Ranger struck the Explorer in the intersection, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway and travel into the northwest corner of the intersection, where the Explorer collided with a metal guardrail.

The Explorer was driven by Gabrielle Monet Robinson, 30, of Kansas City, Kansas, while the Ranger was operated by Maurice Alton Buckley, 64, of Kansas City, Kansas.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to The University of Kansas Medical Center for additional treatment. Authorities reported that both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
