Jackson, MO – Two Injured in I-470 Crash Near Hwy 350

Jackson, MO (June 8, 2025) – A late afternoon collision caused significant delays on Interstate 470 at Highway 350 on June 6. Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that the accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. and involved two 2007 Nissan Altima vehicles traveling eastbound.

According to authorities, the crash took place when a 24-year-old man from Shawnee, Kansas, driving one of the Altimas, slowed for traffic. He was then rear-ended by a 28-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, operating the second Altima. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene by Elite Tow.

Emergency crews with the Lee’s Summit Fire Department arrived quickly and transported both drivers to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials confirmed that the male driver was wearing a safety device, while the female driver was not.
