Warsaw, MO (July 22, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle Warsaw car accident occurred in on the morning of July 21, leaving two drivers injured. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 10:25 a.m. along US 65 at Route BB in Warsaw.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident involved a 2006 Ford and a 2020 Jeep. The Ford, driven by a 56-year-old man from Warsaw, was traveling westbound, while the Jeep, operated by a 72-year-old man from Warsaw, was heading northbound. Investigators determined that the Ford entered the intersection and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, pulling into the path of the Jeep. The Jeep then struck the Ford on the driver’s side.
The impact caused extensive damage to the Ford and moderate damage to the Jeep. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Tolliver’s Tow due to the severity of the crash. Emergency personnel, including local deputies, arrived to assist and secure the roadway.
Both drivers sustained injuries in the accident. The 56-year-old driver suffered serious injuries, while the 72-year-old driver was reported to have moderate injuries. Each was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln EMS to Bothwell Hospital for medical treatment.
