Topeka, KS (March 29, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash resulting in injuries was reported Saturday afternoon at a well-traveled Topeka intersection. According to dispatch audio, the Topeka car accident occurred around 4:58 p.m. on March 28 at the intersection of SW 37th St and Topeka Blvd.
Authorities with the Topeka Police Department, along with firefighters and emergency medical services, were dispatched to the scene following reports of a collision involving a silver Subaru Forester and an orange Nissan Versa. Upon arrival, crews located the vehicles at the intersection and began assessing those involved.
At least one person was hurt in the crash and received medical care at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The condition of the injured victim has not been publicly released at this time.
Traffic in the surrounding area was impacted as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway and investigate the crash. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while officials managed the scene.
