Common Injuries After Missouri Car Accidents

Sudden impact can cause concussions, swelling, or internal bleeding in the brain. These injuries can interfere with focus, memory, and coordination long after the crash.

Spinal cord and back injuries can interfere with body control and physical strength. Victims may experience pain, tingling, or limited movement that requires specialized medical care. Some need physical therapy to regain balance and mobility.

Broken bones frequently occur in Missouri crashes involving high impact. Fractures in arms, legs, or ribs can take weeks or months to heal. Casts, surgery, or rehabilitation may be required to restore function and strength.

Internal organ injuries can be dangerous because symptoms may not appear right away. Blunt force can harm organs such as the liver or kidneys, leading to internal bleeding. Immediate medical evaluation is essential after any major crash to identify hidden damage.

Serious injuries often leave victims facing lasting challenges. Many struggle to work, drive, or handle everyday activities during recovery. These difficulties can affect both independence and financial stability over time.
