Grain Valley, MO (December 1, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jackson County sent two juveniles to area hospitals with injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene at around 10:00 a.m. on November 30.
Official reports show a 2015 Honda Odyssey and a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox collided on East Truman Road near BB Highway. Both vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the accident. They had to be towed from the scene. Three people, identified as an 11-year-old male, a 14-year-old male, and a 49-year-old male, sustained injuries in the crash. All three victims were treated at the scene. The two juveniles were transported to Centerpoint Hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
