Kansas City, KS (March 9, 2026) – Emergency crews were summoned to provide help at the scene of a four-vehicle car accident in Kansas City on Sunday morning, March 8.
According to reports from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, at around 3:15 a.m., a white BMW, a Ford Escape, and two silver sedans collided on the southbound side of Interstate 35 near Mission Road. According to dispatch audio and traffic camera footage, the impact left the white BMW blocking the first and second lanes, with the other involved vehicles coming to a rest on the highway shoulder.
First responders found the sole occupant of the white BMW unconscious at the scene. Fire crews and EMS worked to stabilize the victim before transporting them to a local hospital. The condition of the occupants in the Ford Escape and the two sedans has not yet been confirmed, though medical personnel remained on-scene to evaluate all parties. At this time, the KCKPD is investigating.
