Olathe, KS (December 27, 2025) – A 63-year-old man was struck and killed during a pedestrian accident in Olathe on Friday evening at the intersection of West 151st Street and South Black Bob Road.
Around 5:35 p.m. on December 26, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports that an SUV had hit a pedestrian. Officers with the Olathe Police Department arrived to find the man unresponsive in the roadway. Medics transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The westbound lanes of 151st Street remained closed for nearly two hours while officials worked to investigate and clear the scene.
