Creighton, MO (January 9, 2025) – A serious crash involving two vehicles occurred on southbound Missouri Highway 7, approximately two miles north of Creighton, on Wednesday afternoon, January 8.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 2:20 p.m. after a collision between a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country and a 2022 International LT625. According to reports, the Chrysler lost control on an icy patch while passing the International truck. The larger vehicle then struck the Chrysler on its driver’s side.
An 82-year-old female passenger in the Chrysler suffered serious injuries. She was transported to Cass County Regional Hospital by Garden City EMS for medical treatment. The Chrysler sustained total damage and was towed from the scene, while the truck sustained only minor damage and was secured on-site. The crash investigation is ongoing and was assisted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Creighton Fire, and Garden City EMS.
