Liberty, MO (November 20, 2024) – A woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Clay County. The collision was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 1:55 p.m. on November 17.
Police reports show that a 2021 Honda CBR 600RR collided with a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck on the southbound side of Monarch Highway, Interstate 35. Reports show that the pickup truck was attempting to merge into the left lane near mile marker 20 when the two vehicles collided. A passenger in the Honda, identified as a 20-year-old woman from Excelsior Springs, was injured in the crash. She was transported to Liberty Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
