Kansas City, MO (November 13, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Clay County left three people injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified of the accident at around 7:20 p.m. on November 11.
Official reports show that a 2015 Ford and a 2021 Chevrolet collided on Interstate 435 near 96th Street. The impact of the collision caused the Ford to go off the roadway and collide with multiple trees before overturning. The Ford was totaled in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. Three people in the vehicle were injured. EMS transported a 33-year-old female, a 33-year-old male, and a 72-year-old female to Liberty Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
