Kansas City, MO (October 24, 2024) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Platte County. The collision was reported to officials at around 8:10 p.m. on October 22.

Reports indicate that a collision involving a 2020 Chrysler 300 and a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country took place on the southbound side of Interstate 29. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and immediately closed down the roadway just 300 feet south of mile marker five. Three people involved in the accident were injured. Emergency medical services rendered aid to 35-year-old Meredith Kuhnle, 62-year-old Leon Peterson, and 73-year-old Mary Morgan were transported to North Kansas City Hospital.
