Topeka, KS (September 6, 2025) – Two people sustained serious head injuries on Saturday, September 6, after a violent car crash near Southwest Westport Drive in Topeka.
Witnesses said one vehicle struck another and then slammed into a power pole. The impact was so severe that it left both victims with head trauma and other serious injuries. Emergency crews rushed to the scene within minutes. Paramedics provided urgent medical care at the roadside before quickly transporting the injured to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of those involved, and no updates have been released on their current condition.
Police worked quickly to secure the crash scene while investigators documented evidence and cleared debris from the roadway. Investigators have not ruled out possible factors such as speeding, distraction, or impairment
