Butterfield, MO – Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 37 Leaves One Hurt

Butterfield, MO (February 1, 2025) – A crash involving two vehicles resulted in injuries and significant damage on Highway 37, about one mile south of Butterfield. The accident occurred at approximately 1:19 p.m. on January 30.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2024 Ford F-350, driven by a 24-year-old man from Warren, Michigan, veered off the right side of the roadway. At the same time, a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by a 64-year-old woman from Cassville, Missouri, turned in front of the Ford. The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles, requiring towing services.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the woman to Mercy Cassville for treatment of minor injuries. The Ford’s driver was not reported as injured. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
